Jon and I just returned from 8 days traveling around the northern region. A colleague of mine from the STI clinic invited us to travel with him and his family to visit their home villages, and it was one of the most interesting and humbling experiences I've had in Malawi. Interesting to see such different parts of the country and how the majority of Malawians actually live. The generosity of the villages was overwhelming. People with so little gave so much to us. There is way too much to write about for one blog post so I will write in sections, as I also work to get caught up on a week's worth of work. Here is our route (in blue) on this map so you can get an idea of where we traveled.
